Our Accomplishments

Fastidious in our efforts to impart quality medical education and equitable access to quality healthcare for the masses, we have made strident efforts since our inception. Our success is due to the contributions of our valued members, generous donors, office bearers, and social organizations, all of whom share our desire to contribute to the betterment of the society that has helped us to be what we are today.

We present our accomplishments over the past few years:

  • We put together the Alumni Education Center (AEC), a 3-story building costing a million dollars. AEC offers knowledge share programs aimed at medical practitioners, students, and aid workers.
  • Our Free Meal Program serves in excess of 100,000 hot fresh meals annually to patients and their attendants.
  • Our American Heart Association (AHA) approved International Training Center has trained more than 20,000 professionals in BLS & ACLS.
  • A clean drinking water plant has provided pure, filtered water to more than 100,000 people. Built at just $1000, the plant provides 40,000 liters of water daily to patients and their attendants.
  • We donated much-needed medical equipment such as ventilators, wheelchairs, stretchers, ICU monitors. In 2020-21, we also provided special equipment to manage the pandemic on an emergent basis.
  • The Emergency Room Project helps improve patient care with the help of other organizations.
  • Our palliative care program, launched in partnership with Roshini, serves impoverished and terminally ill patients.
  • We renovated the waiting area for attendants at the Gandhi Hospital to serve more than 75000 attendants annually.
  • The Ear-to-Hear screening program has helped more than 30000 children to date.
  • We have helped install automatic external defibrillators in Gandhi Hospital.
  • We have launched CME Programs, Scholarships, and Gold Medals for students of GMC.
